Software support & maintenance
Ongoing care for live applications: bug fixes, dependency updates, performance checks and improvements with a clear support scope.
How we help your business
A live system needs ownership after the initial launch. PRENOVA reviews the application, deployment process and available documentation before defining maintenance work. We distinguish incidents from feature requests, prioritize security and reliability updates and keep a record of releases. Existing applications can be supported after an assessment of their code, infrastructure and third-party dependencies.
What the project can include
Final deliverables are defined in the agreed project scope.
- Application assessment and maintenance backlog
- Bug fixes and agreed security or dependency updates
- Monitoring review and incident-handling process
- Release notes and an agreed support channel
What to agree before starting
Support hours, response targets and emergency responsibilities belong in the agreement. Availability depends on the contracted plan and system architecture. Keep account ownership, backup access and escalation contacts current so support does not depend on one person.
Common questions
Can you maintain software built by another team?
Potentially. We first assess code access, documentation, licensing and infrastructure, then agree the supportable scope and any work needed to make maintenance practical.
How much does a project cost, and how long does it take?
Cost and timing depend on scope, integrations, data migration, design and testing. Share your workflow and priorities so we can define a realistic first release and provide a scoped proposal. Hosting and support costs should be discussed separately.
